Government Tender for Hiring Truck Mounted Mist Cannon & Road Sweeper Systems - Gujarat

The selected contractor shall provide and operate the following systems at Deendayal Port Authority:

• Supply and commissioning of 2 Truck Mounted Mist Cannon systems for dust suppression.
• Supply and commissioning of 2 Truck Mounted Road Sweeper systems for road cleaning.
• Manpower deployment for operating and maintaining the equipment.
• Operational period of three years, with each Mist Cannon vehicle operating an average of 12 hours daily.
• Road Sweeper vehicles to cover at least 375 kilometers per month.
• Water supply arrangements at Kandla port for system operation.
• Dust/debris disposal arrangements at designated sites, at contractor’s cost.

The contractor must ensure all equipment meets the technical standards specified in the tender documents and adhere to safety and environmental regulations.

Sequential Process:

1. Tender submission and evaluation.
2. Contract award.
3. Equipment procurement and installation.
4. System testing and commissioning.
5. Regular operation and maintenance throughout contract period.
6. Periodic reporting and compliance checks.

The estimated project cost is approximately INR 50.44 million, with a bid security amount of INR 504,442. The financial bid must include detailed cost breakdowns covering equipment procurement, manpower, operational expenses, and disposal costs. Payment terms are aligned with project milestones, including advance payments, progress payments, and final settlement. Bidders should submit their financial proposals in accordance with the prescribed format and ensure transparency and competitiveness. The tender fee of INR 5900 is non-refundable and payable along with bid submission. All costs should be inclusive of taxes, duties, and other applicable charges, excluding GST, which will be paid as per applicable laws.
