1 Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka
2It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.
3EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.
4Each of the documents uploaded in the Karnataka Public Procurement portal should be self attested by the agency or an authorized representative in case of firm / company shall be enclosed.
5List of Employees details shall be enclosed, Employees should be of age 18 years and above
6Evaluation of Electronic Bid Document-I (Technical bid) for qualification will be done based on the information provided by the bidder as per his documents, duly verified if necessary.
7The Selection Process is Based on Quality Cost Based Selection. (QCBS)
8The intending bidder should enclose a work done certificate from competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer for having completed the following item of works.
9Joint tenders are not accepted. Sub-leasing or G.P.A. of work is prohibited.
10Bidders/Tenderers should follow up and abide by the circular and memo issued by head office periodically
11Performance security -1. Within 20 days of receipt of the letter of acceptance, successful tenderer shall deliver to the employer a security deposit in the form of FDR/BG for an amount equivalent to 5.00% of the contract price & additional performance security for unbalanced tenders if quoted below in accordance with the clause of the tender document. 2. Successful bidder should execute work agreement within 20 days from the date of issue of Letter of acceptance, failing which his tender will be cancelled & EMD will be forfeited.3. If the rate (s) quoted by Tenderer for any item (s) of work is / are above 125% of the estimated rates, then the amount over and above 125% will be withheld during the progress of work. 4. Security Deposit Will be released after the final clearance from the Department.
12Undersign Reserves the right of rejecting all or any tenders without assigning any reasons
13EMD Should be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of tender
14The tender processing fee shall not be refundable.
15The tenderer should furnish the Formats filled and signed by the competent authority as mentioned in the Bid document
16The intending bidder should not be blacklisted or under any fraud charges cases as declared by Government of Karnataka.
17All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards have to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity
18Conditional tenders will not be accepted
19The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs
20The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing Karnataka Public Procurement Portal.
21Corrigendum will be published in Karnataka Public Procurement Portal for all modifications/ corrections, if any
22Separate provisions for GST is provided in Sanctioned Estimate, Rates quoted by the contractor should be exclusive of GST & applicable GST will be paid separately
23GST will be deducted as per the prevailing Govt. Orders from time to time.
24The Successful bidder should abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Tender and in any case if he is seen violating such Rules and Regulations, Agreement with such a bidder would be terminated
