The Directorate Of Purchase And Stores, on behalf of the Department Of Atomic Energy, invites bids for the supply of refillable seamless steel gas cylinders specifically configured for helium gas. Technical Specifications & Requirements

• Cylinders designed for helium gas; conditioning for helium; fill pressure > 20 bar; purity ≥ 99.995%.
• Color requirement: brown painted cylinders.
• Certification prerequisites: manufacturing certificate, pressure test certificate, PESO certificate; acceptance includes N2 ≤ 10 ppm, O2 ≤ 2 ppm, H2O ≤ 2 ppm during purity checks.
• Physical specs underlines: wall thickness, outside diameter, length, tare weight, water capacity, volumetric capacity, gas capacity, and packaging type to be defined in bidder response.
• Eligibility/quality: ISO certification of manufacture preferred; test reports from NABL/ILAC-accredited labs on demand; supplier must provide installation/commissioning and service support within India.
• Delivery at VECC Kolkata; non-GPS vehicles only; documentation on bid head as acceptance criterion.

Terms, Conditions & Eligibility

• EMD/PBG: DD acceptable in favor of Pay and Accounts Officer, VECC; delivery of scanned DD copy allowed with hard copy within 15 days of award.
• Warranty: 1 year from final acceptance or post-installation testing; OEM warranty certificates required at delivery; service centers and after-sales network must be listed.
• Compliance: Exemption from local content under government policy; all documents on bidder letterhead; delivery window 1100–1245 hours on receipt.
