1.The bidder should have minimum of 5 years’ experience in reconditioning, hydrostatic testing, inspection, certification and valve maintenance of compressed gas cylinders at TGGENCO.

SCOPE OF THE WORK 1. Statutory testing comprising of Degaussing, Cleaning, internal & external surfaces Examination, Weighing, Purging, Hydraulic Testing, Punching and Certification of Gas cylinders as per IS-7285 of 156 No.s H2 Gas Cylinders of KTPP Stage-II. 2. Sand blasting & Painting Double Coat with approved Colour Code of 156 No.'s H2 Gas Cylinders of KTPP Stage-II 3. Replacement of Defective Valve with branded New valve of H2 Cylinders (If Required) 4. Replacement of Valve Protector of H2 Cylinders (If Required) 5. Replacement of Gland nuts of H2 Gas Cylinders (If Required). Terms and Conditions: 1. Delivery: Each lot of repaired/serviced tested cylinders shall be sent back to KTPP site within 4-5 weeks from the date of receipt of cylinders at work site. 2. Test Certificate: The tests confirming to latest editions of relevant ISS shall be conducted including cleaning, internal and external examination, hydrostatic stretch test, purging, weighing, certification and punching of tested cylinders. The test certificates may be furnished to the Superintending Engineer/O&M-II/KTPP and got approved before dispatch of tested cylinders with copies marked to the Divisional Engineer/General/KTPP/Stage-II. The validity for the tested cylinders shall be for a period of five years from the date of testing. 3. Dispatch Instructions: The serviced/repaired/tested cylinders shall be consigned to the Divisional Engineer/General/KTPP/Stage-II and shall be handed over to the authorized representative deputed by him. The readiness of the tested cylinders is to be intimated to the Divisional Engineer/General/KTPP/Stage-II, all the original documents shall be handed over to the consignee. 4. Guarantee Period: The replaced spare parts shall be guaranteed for satisfactory performance for a period of six months from the date of receipt of cylinders at site against defective material and faulty workmanship. In either case, the defects/defective spare parts shall be rectified/replaced by the firm at free of cost to TGGENCO. 5. Taxes & Duties: GST@18% will be paid extra or as applicable at the time of billing.
