The rain water falling on side slopes of canal will also carry soil particles and cause deposition of silt in the bed of canal. The silt is deposited throughout in the bed of distry canal from Dy No 33 to 43 including laterals of MLI west canal. it is necessary to remove the silt during every closure period of canal letting water in canal for next khariff. Jungle is also grown along the SR, IP and side slopes of canal which is to be cleared. It is necessarry to execute the above works during every closure period. Hence the estimate is prepared for removal of silt and Jungle of distry canal from Dy No 33 to 43 including laterals of MLI west canal.
