Tenderers should not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Purchaser to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods to be purchased under this Invitation of Tenders.
Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka
It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.
EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.
Deviations, if any, must be clearly highlighted and justified.
Samples / brochures may be requested for evaluation.
Delivery at designated location(s) within the stipulated timeframe.
Provide a operation manuals and training to end-users.
Equipment must comply with the technical specifications provided in the tender document.
Technical bid should not contain price details.
Prices should be quoted in INR, firm and inclusive of all taxes, duties, freight, insurance, and installation charges.
No escalation will be permitted during the contract period.
Payment subject to submission of invoice, test certificates, and warranty documents.
The delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of all items under this contract shall be completed by the supplier within the specified time frame, without exception and at no additional cost to the purchaser
Delay will attract Liquidated Damages (LD), usually 0.5% per week, subject to a maximum of 5-10% of contract value.
Minimum warranty period (commonly 12-36 months) from date of installation & acceptance.
Free replacement / repair of defective parts should be done during warranty period.
Should be Available after-sales service support.
Successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) (generally 5% of contract value) valid up to warranty period including additional buffer time.
Inspection may be conducted at suppliers premises and/or at delivery site.
Equipment will be accepted only after successful installation & testing.
Strict action shall be taken against the supplier in the event of supply of substandard items or failure to supply, including rejection of goods, forfeiture of PBG/EMD, termination of contract, and/or blacklisting as deemed appropriate by the purchaser
Purchaser reserves the right to terminate the contract in case of non-performance, delay, or violation of tender conditions.
Conditional / incomplete bids will be rejected.
The Purchaser has a right to reject any or all tenders without assigning reasons.
For exemption from payment of EMD, the bidder must possess valid Udyam Registration and NSIC certificates. If the agency/company/supplier does not hold both these certificates, submission of EMD is mandatory. Failure to comply will result in disqualification from the tender process
The bidder shall ensure that only new, unused, and high-quality materials conforming to the prescribed specifications are supplied. Any substandard, refurbished, or non-conforming material shall be summarily rejected at the risk and cost of the supplier.
Any addendum or corrigendum to this tender shall be issued only through the KPP Portal, and no separate paper notification will be released.
The delivery location and quantity requirements are subject to variation, and the tenderer shall comply with such changes without objection.
The quantity mentioned in the tender is tentative and may be increased or decreased based on the Purchasers actual requirement. The successful bidder shall supply the revised quantity at the quoted unit rates without any change in the terms and conditions.
The bidder shall quote the unit rate for each item through the KPP Portal. Item-wise L1 shall be determined based on the quoted rates, and the work/order shall be awarded item-wise as per the instructions and approval of the Tender Inviting Authority (TIA)/Competent Authority.
