Disconnecting & taking out defective under ground LT cable from trenches, pole, pipe, floor ,wall etc including bricks ,GI pipes and removing from work site of unserviceable material all as specified and directed. (Excavation/earth work shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item of this schedule)

All as per BOQ Item No 2.00 here in before but of size 4.0 core 16 sqmm. ,complete all as specified

Excavating in trenches , n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits ,manhole pier hole, taking out and laying of cable etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any kind of soil Note Manual excavation to be done. During excavation if any damage occured to existing cable any type/ water pipe line, it will be contractor responsibilty to get it repair and make functional by providing jointing kit etc without any extra cost. Contractor has to repair it within 24 hrs so that essential service can not be effected due to such damage.If contractor fails to repair it within 24 hrs penalty Rs 500/ will be charged to contractor. In this GE decision will be final, conclusive and binding.

Removing excavated Materials (Soils) not exc. 50.00 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 mtr above the Starting Point in Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for fly ash bricks locally available laid dry width wise across the line of cable in trenches for protection of UG cable, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, light grade complete with all fittings of 50 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Boring of horizontal hole under road, pavement, hardstanding suitable for passing through up to 80 mm bore, complete all as specified. Note (i) One run of boring of horizontal hole will be measured as one unit length. (ii) All the precaution to be taken by the contractor before drilling the bore. The contractor has to take plan of existing cables any type and pipe line in existing area before drilling the bore. (iii) Any damage to existing cables any type and pipe line in the way of drilling the bore will be repaired and make good by the contractor. No extra cost will be paid on this account. (iv) Contractor has to get the survey of route, length and depth for boring before quoting the rate.

M&L for straight through joint (heat shrinkable) complete suitable for LT 1100 Volt aluminium conductor cable of size3.5/4 x 25 50 sqmm and testing after jointing of following sizes of cables, Note Payment will be released only after submission of PV anf test certificate

Supplying and fixing High density polyethylene pipes (HDPE) of pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 complete with all fittings of 25 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable/earth strip protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing High density polyethylene pipes (HDPE) of pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 complete with all fittings of 50 mm bore dia, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers as in cable/earth strip protection complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm mm buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25m below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to GI strip 32x6 mm as earth lead by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, upto 7.5m length, earth strip protected by and including 40 mm dia GI pipe (light grade) and connected to main test point or body of pole/pannel or lightening arrester of main controlling switch as directed including concrete pit in PCC (1 3 6) type C1 , Precast RCC (1 2 4) Type B1 cover slab of size 54x54x5 cm reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars 100 mm C/C both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 10 mm dia TMT bar embedded in precast cover slab, funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore GI Pipe (Medium Grade) for watering, Charcoal and salt in alternate layers of 15 cm (Compacted Thickness) around the earth electrode including necessary excavation, earth work in any type of soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n.exc 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part I. NOTE 1. The unit rare includes for protectionh GI pipe of 40mm and watering pipe of 20mm bore including excavation for earth pit in any type of soil/disintegrate rock. 2. Contractor has to bring agriculture soil from outside of defence land and fill in earth pit to acheive desired result as the soil resisitivity is very high. 3. The cost of GI strip of 32x6mm including protection pipe, from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above/below ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate. 4. All the joints in GI strip and connectgion with earth plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by providing double brass nut bolt and washer. 5.Costing of welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate

Labour only for disconnecting, isolating and taking out burned/unserviceable lugs, switchgear, metering devices, wiring, bus bar etc from any type of pannel/board and replacing the same with new ones including testing completee al as directed by Engr in Charge. Note (i) New parts will be measured and paid separately under respective items as supply only. (ii). The item will not be operated simultaniously alongwith the item No 30.00
