Re-metalling and machining of complete TGB shell as per the existing scheme of arrangement. Oil grooves cuttings and surface tapering at exact angles as per drawings supplied by KPCL. Removing and dismantling of cooling water jackets provided in the two halves of the TGB shell and Thorough cleaning of cooling water jackets provided in the two halves of the TGB shell. Plugging the holes and arresting water leakage in the water jacket cooling system and pressure testing of 5kg/cm2. Scraping, cleaning the old paint and painting of fresh anti corrosive oil-resistant paint on the outer surface of the TGB shells. All threaded stud holes should be cleaned by using proper tappings before dispatch. TGB shell should be clean and free from Babbitt spray on any outside surface of the shell before dispatch.
