Construction of Earth pits
Earth Pit of the size of 1-meter diameter and 3-meter depth shall be excavated, after depth of 3 meter the size of excavation shall be 900X300X900mm depth. All material required for construction will be supplied by the vendor.
Construction of Earthing Inspection Chamber with Lid
300X300X300 mm (inside dimension) concrete box with smooth cement plaster finish shall be provided on the top of the pit. A lid painted black approx. 50 mm thick with pulling hooks, shall be provided to cover the earth pit. All material required for construction will be supplied by the vendor.
Copper Plate
600mm x 600mm x 3.15mm (Thickness) (Copper Purity not less than 90%, NABL approved lab test report to be submitted)
Copper Strip
Supply and laying of copper strip (Copper Purity not less than 90%, NABL approved lab test report to be submitted) of size 25mm(width) x 3mm (Thickness) on floor/wall/trenches with suitable spacer and saddle (Brass) and termination of copper strip shall be carried out with brass bolts and nuts etc as per specifications. All accessories for laying to be provided by vendor.
Conventional Lightning Arrestor
Conventional LA with solid copper rod (1-inch diameter x 2 meters length) with minimum 04 nos. of Solid Copper fins and SS accessories for mounting on FRP poles. (Copper Purity not less than 90%, NABL approved lab test report to be submitted)
PVC insulated Multi strand copper cable for LA
70 sq mm (Copper Purity not less than 90%, NABL approved lab test report to be submitted)
Brazing of interconnection
Brazing of all interconnections and joints of copper strips and copper cables of earthing systems and lightning arrestors as per site requirement
Equipotential Earth Bar Copper
Equipotential Earth Bar (EEB) with pre-drilled holes of suitable size for termination of bonding conductors.
FRP poles
6 Meter Frangible Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) poles with GI base plate for installation of lightning arrestors. Anchor bolts/Fasteners, Cast-in-situ Concrete foundation (dimension as per site requirement), SS 304 Clamps/brackets, Nut bolts, SS ties/straps etc for fixing/erecting/mounting FRP poles and guy wire assembly with turnbuckles/wall hooks, if needed for stability, to be supplied and installed by vendor.

Heavy duty, 40 mm dia, 3 Meter length and 5 mm thickness (contains holes in Zigzag manner)

Type I plus II SPD with 32A Series Filter for Single Phase operation for 5 KVA dual UPS Input
Provides surge protection and filtering for UPS input lines, crucial for protecting sensitive equipment. Multi-strand single core PVC insulated copper cable to be supplied and laid as per requirement for connecting Class I + II SPDs to Equipotential earth bus bar available at Equipment room.
Type II SPD with 32 A Series Filter for Single Phase operation for 5 KVA dual UPS output
Provides surge protection and filtering for UPS output lines, ensuring safe delivery of clean power to connected systems.
Installation, Testing and Commissioning along with accessories
Installation, Testing and Commissioning of the complete system as per specifications. All accessories like Copper lugs, earthing Copper wires, Clamps, SS 304 Nut bolts, SS tie, GI bend etc. are to be provided as per site requirement. The earth resistance of the combined earth system (to be measured at EEB) shall be less than or equal to 5 ohm.
