The base channel shall be welded at 50mm from each end of the length of 920mm and shall be up to full width of 485mm and shall be 100mm high Top, sides bottom and back of almirah shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet . All joints and welding and fixing shall be done in accordance with the standard workmanship. HANDLE - One chromium plated steel handle with a locking device shall be provided as shown on drawing . LOCKING DEVICE -The locking device shall be three way locking device and shall also be provided with decorative key plate. FINISH -All steel surfaces shall be painted with two coats of silver grey hammer paint internally and extrenally with spray machine over a coat of red oxide (primer)after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left corner of front shutter with visible colour. 2 Almirah Med with shelves Steel Almirah Med with shelves Steel. DIMENSION- Overall size shall be 1270mm high,765mm wide and 440mm deep. DESCRIPTION- The base shall be made of two numbers mild steel sheet channel base welded to bottom of almirah and shall be 100mm high. Mild steel sheet shall be 1mm thick for channel base. The base channel shall be welded at 50mm from each end of 765mm length and shall be up to full width of 440mm of almirah. Top, sides, back, bottom and front of almirah shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet. Three shelves equally spaced making four compartments shall be provided and shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet.Front shutters shall have two leaves.All joints and welding, fixing shall be done according standard workmanship. HANDLE- A steel chromium plated handle 100mm long shall be provided to the shutter. LOCKING DEVICE- The locking device shall be three way locking device and shall also be provided with decorative key plate. 3 Bed Hard 6feetx3feet with ply top Bed Hard 6feetx3feet with ply top. Overall size shall be 2050mm long, 900mm wide and 400mm high. All Steel shall be MS Square pipe of 18 Gauge. The head board shall be 800mm high and Foot board shall be 500mm high. The frame of head board and foot board shall be of 38mmx38mm MS square pipe.18mmx18mm MS square pipe shall be provided in the inner of head board frame/foot board frame as shown in drg.18mm thick both side decorative prelaminated particle board exterior grade of walnut shade with PVC edging shall be screwed to MS strip arc welded to 18mm thick rectangular pipe with standard workmanship both in head board/foot board..25mmx65mm rectangular CR pipe shall be used to make the long rails and short rails of bed hard and welding shall be done for fixing long rails to the legs irrespective of what is shown on drg.One stiffener of size 25mmx25mm shall be welded between the two legs of headboard over 150mm from the ground level. The top of bed hard shall be of 12mm thick BWR ply of approved make fixed over the four equidistant stiffener of size 25mmx25mm SQ MS pipe in line with bottom of 25x65mm long rail section. 4 Bench work shop 6inchx2feet, 6inchx3feet Bench work shop 6inchx2feet-6inchx3feet. DIMENSION-Over all size shall be of 1800x900x760mm. DESCRIPTION-Four legs shall be of 32mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm.Size of the steel frame shall be 1700mmx800mmx720mm.Legs shall be 720mm high.Top of legs shallbe joined together in long and short sides with 32mm sq mild steel tube.Two Short stiffeners of 32mm mild sq steel tube shall be provided at 100mm from bottom of legs in short sides.A drawers shall be provided at right hand side of the table with locking arrangement,the drawer and bearer for drawer shall be made of 1mm thick MS sheet . Hard rubber shoe shall be provided for legs. The top of the table shall be of 40mm thick IInd class hard wood shisham/sal wood and shall be given with three coats of Ist class oil paint over a coat of primer. FINISH-Top shall be painted in colour with two coats of oil paint and steel portion shall be painted over a coat of primer on steel frame. 5 Book case steel large Book case steel large. DIMENSION-Over all size shall be of 840 mm long, 310 mm wide and 1675 mm high . DESCRIPTION-All sheet shall be mild steel sheet 1 mm thick, back, sides, bottom, top and shelves.The book case shall be provided with four compartments of equal size. The shutters of each compartment shall open towards top and slide into the depth of the book case.Transparent glass 4mm thick shall be provided to front shutters. Two steel handles of 100 mm long shall be provided to each shutter of the compartment. The locking device shall be provided to each compartment with duplicate key and each shutter shall be provided with decorative key plate. FINISH- All steel surfaces internally and externally shall be painted with two coats of silver hammer paint over a coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of surfaces. 6 Charpoy IP with hard top Charpoy IP with hard top. Overall size shall be 1980mm long, 900mm wide and 440mm high. Two long rails and two short rails shall be of 25mmx65mmx16 gauge MS rectangular pipe .The legs shall be of size 32mmx32mmx16 gauge welded to long and short rails as shown on drg.Two stiffeners of size 25mmx25mmx16 gauge shall be provided in equidistant between two opposite long rails. Six number cleat of size 25mmx60mmx6mm shall be welded with frame to support ply. Two stiffeners joining legs of size 25mmx25mmx16 gauge shall be provided at 150mm from ground level .12mm thick BWR plywood shall be provided for top as shown on drg with proper nut and bolt .one nut and bolt shall also be provided at centre of each stiffeners for fixing the plywood irrespective of what is shown on drg..PVC hard rubber shoes shall be fixed at bottom of each leg. 7 Chair CB without Arms Steel Chair CB W/o Arms Steel. Overall size shall be 535mm wide,560mm deep and 900mm high. Seat shall be 455mm high from floor.Conduit pipe used for frame shall be 20mm dia steel tubing having wall thickness 1.6mm Welding of frame where required shall be as directed by GE/BSO and in running welding grinded to give smooth surface.The seat and back frame of the chair shall be made up of quality sheesham wood in natural polish with polythene cane in godrej pattern confirming to IS-5378-94(Type-I) of durable qualty .The wooden seat frame shall be further supported by steel strips measuring 19mm x 3mm at the front and the rear and each strip shall be welded to ERW frame. Cane shall be 2mm wide and 0.4mm thick, Gola type weighing not less than 6 gms/10 RM. Bottom of legs shall have hard rubber shoes. .The seat and back shall be fixed by providing suitable nut bolts and washer. Painting shall be done with spray machine after preparation of wooden surfaces. 8 Chair CB with Arms steel Chair CB with Arms steel. DIMENSION-Overall size shall be 535mm wide,560mm deep and 900mm high. DESCRIPTION-Seat shall be 455mm high from floor. Conduit pipe used for frame shall be 20mm dia steel tubing having wall thickness 1.6mm Welding of frame where required shall be as directed by GE/BSO and in running welding grinded to give smooth surface.The seat and back frame of the chair shall be made up of quality sheesham wood in natural polish with polythene cane in godrej pattern confirming to IS-5378-94(Type-I) of durable quality .The wooden seat frame shall be further supported by steel strips measuring 19mm x 3mm at the front and the rear and each strip shall be welded to ERW frame.The seat and back shall be fixed by providing suitable nut bolts and washers..The arms shall be of PPCP material in lieu of wooden and shall be fixed with screws from beneath. 9 Chair Computer Chair Computer. The Base pedestal assembly of chair computer shall be of dia 700mm and 1060mm high .The pedestal assembly shall be provided with injection molded in black 30% glass filled nylon. A 10.5mm dia forged bright Zinc plated MS Castor Pin is of press fitted into each prong for holding the castors. The seat and back of the chair computer shall be made of 12mm thick hot pressed plywood upholstered with fabric and moulded polyurethane foam. The back form shall be designed with contour lumber support for extra comfort with PVC lipping allround.The back rest shall be adjustable and consist of drop lift mechanism and shall be adjusted in the insert .It shall be scratch and weather resistant. 11 Chair Dinning Chair Dinning. Chair Dining with Seat cushioned shall be made to the shape, size and design as shown on drg and as specified in particular specification and shall be manufactured in accordance with relevant drg All wood work shall be of kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated Ist class hard wood (Teakwood). Seat- Seat shall be 75mm thick of polyurethane foam density of 32 Kg/Cu.m covered with fabric of acrylic/polyester/polypropylene and upholstered with good quality leatherised foam as approved by GE. Plywood for seat shall be 12mm thick BWR type Toes - Nylon buffers shall be high glossy of best quality as approved by GE and shall be provided under each leg and fixed with 25mm long steel screws of suitable size. 12 Chair Writing Chair Writing. The frame of the chair shall be of MS tubular frame powder coated ,cantilever type of size 25mmx10mm in section. Back form shall be designed with contoured lumber support for extra comfort.120mm thick hot pressed plywood upholstered with superior quality fabric and moulded polyurethane foam with PVC lipping alround shall be provided at seat and back.PU arms shall be of superior quality and reinforced with MS insert.It shall be scratch and wheather resistant..Steel portion of chair shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of black colour over a coat of primer.Rest all specifications are as per drg and directed by Engr-In-Charge 19 nos ageqscmbay@1 90
13 Chair Easy FD Chair Easy FD. DIMENSION- Overall size shall be 510 mm long, 575mm wide and 720mm high . DESCRIPTION- All wood shall be first class teak (MP). Front legs shall be 30mmx55mm in section and 355mm high up to seat level. Rear legs shall be of 30mmx55mm in section and 300mm high up to seat level and slanting 50mm away from vertical. Front, back and side rails of seat shall be out of 30mmx55mm in section and made to shape as shown on drawing. front, back and side rails shall join the front and rear legs at 355mm high and 300mm high in rear Teak wood arm rests shall be provided at 150mm above seat level and shall be of 30mmx55mm in section as shown on drawing. Back rest shall be made of frame consisting of top horizontal rail of 30mmx100mm in section out of 60mmx100mm teak wood made to shape as shown on drawing and lower horizontal rail of back rest shall be of 30mmx100mm in section joined together by vertical side rails of 30mmx25mm in section teak wood to form the frame Caning shall be done with plastic cane of 2mm wide and 0.4mm thick half round gola type weighing not less than 6gms in ten running meters. Caning shall be done in Godrej pattern. PVC shoes 25mmx25mm shall be provided at the bottom of all legs. 16 Chair verandah Chair verandah. The overall size of the chair shall be 455mm wide 455mm deep and 940mm high. The frame of the chair shall be of 19mm dia MS tube of wall thickness 1.6mm duly powder coated. The seat and back of the chair shall be of PVC 4mm of weight not less than 1.85 kgs and grooves 90x10mm ten in nos on seat and back. One stiffener 19mm dia MS tube shall be provided in between the front legs as shown in drg. An additional support in seat and back shall be provided at centre between the seat and back duly welded for rest of PVC seat irrespective of what is shown on drg. 17 Hat stand with mirror Hat stand with mirror. Overall size shall be 1330 mm long, 710mm high. The inner frame shall be of 50mmx20mm teak wood battens six in nos .The back and front of frame shall be covered with 6mm thick commercial ply.The edges of the frame shall be covered with 6mmx35mm teak wood edging fixed alround the frame with headless nails and adhesive.Six brass pegs 120mm long shall be fixed over the wooden membrane with brass screws as shown in drg.5mm thick looking mirror of (saint gobian,Modiguard/Atul) shall be provided as shown on drg with beading alround . Mild steel key plate shall be provided at both top corners of the hat stand. All teak wood surfaces shall be given high gloss French polish with lacquer finish. 18 Ladder Aluminium Ladder Alumium. Overall size shall be of 2310mm long and 363.5mm wide. The ladder shall be of Aluminium having wall thickness 3.18mm .Each rung shall be of 23mm dia aluminium pipe with wall thickness not less than 2.43mm and shall be eight in nos at equidistant space of 300mm in between as shown in drg.The stringer of ladder shall be 31.75mm wide and 3.18mm thick .Each alumnium pipe rung of 23 mm dia shall be fitted inside the stringer with end bend to shape and each rung on both sides shall be provided with hard rubber cap. 19 Peg Table Peg Table. DIMENSION-Overall size shall be 450mm long,300mm wide and 380mm high. DESCRIPTION-Legs shall be of teak wood of section 30mmx50mm.The legs shall be 362mm high.5mmx5mm in section groove shall be provided on the top of legs which shall be visible when placed in position.Two nos top rails of section 20mmx40mm of teak wood shall be provided connecting legs.Two bottom rails of size 20mmx40mm shall be fixed between the legs .A centre stiffeners of size 20x40mm shall be provided at centre of side bottom rails for extra support irrespective of what is shown on drg.Top of table shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board of approved shade.4mm thick teak wood beading shall be provided alround the top edges of table. 20 Stool revolving Stool revolving. All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 455mm dia and 600mm high four legs of 25mm dia mild steel sheet pipe legs made to shap of thickness 1.6mm irrespective of what is shown on drawing. 12mm dia mild steel bar ring shall be provided at 150mm from bottom joining four legs as showon drawing. Two cast iron discs shall be provided at top of legs and at 100mm top of legs as shown on drawing and fixed to legs with 6mm dia bolt. 25mm dia threaded steel bolt 255mm long fixed with 6mm thick steel plate 100mm dia and top of 25mm dia threaded bolt shall be provided as shown on drawing the padded seat shall be fixed on 6mm thick, 100mm dia steel plate with scren for which four nubmber holes are provided in steel plate. Padded seat shall be 38mm dia. The bottom of padded seat shall be 30mm soft wood over which a layer of coir shall be provided to give proper shape as shown on drawing. Hessian cloth shall be provided to cover the layer of coir and under the soft wood padded seat. A layer of cotton shall be provided and covered with Rexene cover alround the top and bottom to form the padded seat. All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer after preparation of surfaces. 21 Table 3feet x 2 feet with drawer Table 3 feet x 2 feet with drawer. All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 900mm long, 600mm wide and 760mm high. All wood shall be of first class hard wood teak (MP). Legs shall be 60mm x 30mm in section throughout and 741 mm high, four in numbers, Joined together in front, back and sides with top rails of 20mm x 110mm in section provided flush with top of legs. The left hand side portion, viewing from front shall have drawers of 300rnrn wide. 25mm x 40mm in section teak wood stiffener on one side and 20mm x 30mm in sectlon teak wood fillet on other side of drawer shall be provided as shown on drawing. Track rails 25mm x 25mm In section on one side telescopic channel ,shall be used for smaooth mvement of drawer and 30mm x 25mm in section on other side of drawers having rebate for guide rails as 12mm x 12mm in section shall be provided all as shown on drawing. The sides and back of drawer shall be of 12mm thick and 110 mm high teak wood planks. The front of drawer shall be of 20mm x 110mm in section teak wood plan.
