Tender for Anti-corrosive Epoxy Paint Work at Dhuvaran Gas Power Station Gujarat

The selected contractor shall perform the following works:

• Surface preparation of existing structures, supports, pipelines, tanks, and auxiliaries of DGBPS.
• Application of anti-corrosive epoxy paint on all designated surfaces.
• Ensuring all surfaces are cleaned, sanded, and primed as per technical standards.
• Use of high-quality epoxy coatings suitable for industrial power plant environments.
• Adherence to safety and environmental regulations during application.

The process includes:

1. Site inspection and surface assessment.
2. Surface cleaning and preparation.
3. Primer application and curing.
4. Multiple coats of epoxy paint as per specifications.
5. Final inspection and quality assurance.

The contractor shall coordinate with power station authorities for scheduling and ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

The epoxy paint used shall conform to IS 10262 or equivalent standards, with properties including:

• Viscosity: 50-70 KU
• Adhesion: Minimum 2.5 MPa
• Tensile Strength: > 20 MPa
• Elongation: > 5%
• Temperature Resistance: Up to 150°C

Application procedures:

• Surface cleaning with high-pressure water jet.
• Sandblasting to Sa 2.5 grade.
• Application of primer layer and curing.
• Multiple coats of epoxy paint with specified thickness.
• Final inspection for uniformity and adhesion.

Technical compliance and quality assurance are mandatory, with testing reports submitted for approval before coating.

The estimated project cost is INR 47,636,000, with a bid validity of 180 days. The payment schedule shall be as follows:

Bidders must submit a detailed financial proposal, including breakdowns of costs for materials, labor, and overheads. All payments are subject to certification by the project engineer and adherence to contractual terms.
