Tender for Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 66kV Line Conversion to Panther Tower

The successful bidder shall:

• Design and prepare a proto-model of the transmission line conversion, which must be approved by GETCO at no extra cost.
• Supply all necessary materials, including Panther towers and ACSR Panther conductors.
• Execute activities such as straightening, cutting, drilling, punching, bending, notching, stamping, galvanizing, and other fabrication processes as per the technical specifications provided.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant standards and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with GETCO for approvals at various stages.
• Install and string conductors using Panther towers, ensuring correct tension and alignment.
• Conduct testing and commissioning to ensure operational readiness.
• Complete the entire scope within a maximum of six months from the date of issue of the Letter of Award.

The bidder shall also prepare detailed work schedules, safety plans, and quality assurance documentation as per project requirements.

The project requires the design and installation of a 66kV single circuit line converted to a Panther Tower configuration. The towers shall be fabricated as per the specifications provided in the tender documents, ensuring compliance with Indian Standards and GETCO standards. The conductors used must be ACSR Panther, suitable for high-voltage transmission. The technical parameters include:

The bidder shall submit a bid security of Rs. 250,000, payable via bank guarantee or DD. Payment terms include an initial mobilization advance (if applicable), progress payments linked to project milestones, and a final payment upon successful completion and testing. All payments shall be subject to approval of submitted invoices and certification by GETCO representatives.
