Government Tender for Carting 4000 PSC Poles from Charadava Factory - Power & Energy Sector

The selected contractor will be responsible for the following:

• Transporting 4000 Nos. of PSC poles, each weighing approximately 10 Mt and 270 KG, from Charadava Pole Factory or other PGVCL-approved factories to designated PGVCL locations across Gujarat.
• Ensuring safe handling, loading, and unloading of poles.
• Complying with all safety and transportation regulations.
• Maintaining the integrity of poles during transit.
• Providing necessary equipment and manpower for efficient logistics.

The process involves:

1. Receiving the order and planning logistics.
2. Loading poles onto suitable transportation vehicles.
3. Transporting poles to specified destinations.
4. Unloading and confirming delivery.
5. Submitting delivery reports and obtaining acceptance.

Key deliverables include timely delivery, safety compliance, and proper documentation.

The contractor must coordinate with PGVCL officials and adhere to project timelines and quality standards.

The poles to be transported are high-mast PSC poles with the following technical parameters:

• Inspection of poles at the factory.
• Loading using appropriate lifting equipment.
• Secured transportation ensuring no damage.
• Unloading at destination with safety measures.

All transportation vehicles must be equipped with GPS tracking and safety features to ensure timely and secure delivery.

The estimated project cost is INR 23,00,000. Payment terms include:

Bidders must submit a detailed price bid, including transportation charges, loading/unloading fees, and any ancillary costs. All costs should be inclusive of taxes and applicable levies. The bid should be valid for 180 days from the bid submission deadline.
