Government Tender for Door-to-Door Waste Collection & Transport in Chalala City

The selected contractor will be responsible for the following:

• Door-to-door waste collection from wards 1 to 6 in Chalala City.
• Transportation of collected waste to designated dumping sites.
• Ensure timely collection and transportation as per the schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene during collection and transport.
• Comply with environmental regulations and safety standards.

The process involves:

1. Receiving daily waste collection schedules from the municipal authority.
2. Deploying adequate manpower and vehicles to cover all wards.
3. Collecting waste from households and commercial establishments.
4. Transporting waste to approved disposal sites.
5. Reporting daily progress and any issues to the Nagarpalika.

The contractor must ensure all activities are carried out efficiently, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and environmental compliance.

The contractor shall utilize vehicles compliant with local environmental standards, equipped with sealing mechanisms to prevent spillage. Vehicles must be suitable for urban waste collection, with a capacity of at least 2 cubic meters. The collection process should follow a systematic route plan approved by the municipal authority. The waste transportation must adhere to safety and hygiene standards, with proper covering and handling procedures. The technical parameters include:

Sequential procedures involve route planning, vehicle deployment, waste collection, transportation, and reporting. Bidders must ensure all vehicles are maintained and operated as per technical norms specified in the tender documents.

The estimated project cost is approximately ₹22,173,75. Bidders are required to submit a bid security (EMD) as specified in the tender, which is to be valid for 120 days. The financial bid should include a percentage rate for services, with the option to select based on the most competitive and compliant offer.
