Government Tender for Procurement of 10 FRP Tourist Boats & 1 Rescue Boat at Sharmishtha Lake

The selected vendor will be responsible for the complete procurement and delivery of the following:

• Manufacturing of 10 FRP tourist boats suitable for lake tourism, complying with Gujarat IV Rules for category C vessels.
• Construction of 1 FRP rescue boat with specifications meeting safety and durability standards.
• Delivery of vessels at Sharmishtha Lake, Vadnagar, within a 2-month completion period.
• Ensuring all boats are built under IRS/other IACS member certifications.
• Providing detailed project schedules, manufacturing capacity reports, and quality assurance documentation.

Key Deliverables:

• Fully constructed and certified FRP tourist boats
• One FRP rescue boat with safety features
• Complete documentation including work orders, certificates, and project schedules

Process:

1. Submit technical and financial bids electronically via the NProcure portal.
2. Participate in the preliminary and technical evaluation stages.
3. Demonstrate manufacturing capacity and provide necessary certifications.
4. Finalize contract after successful evaluation.

The vendor must ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards as per tender specifications.

The boats must conform to the following technical parameters:

Process:

• Design and manufacture vessels as per approved drawings.
• Conduct quality checks at each stage.
• Obtain necessary certifications before delivery.
• Ensure vessels are compliant with Gujarat IV Rules for category C vessels.

Vessels must be tested for stability, safety, and durability, with documentation provided for all tests conducted.

The estimated project cost is INR 1,825,3000.00. Bidders must submit a detailed financial proposal, including breakdowns for manufacturing, testing, and delivery costs. The payment schedule will be as follows:

• 30% advance upon contract signing.
• 50% after delivery and certification.
• 20% upon successful completion and acceptance.

All financial proposals must be submitted in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes. Bidders should ensure transparency and accuracy in cost estimation to facilitate smooth processing.
