Open Tender for Providing AC vehicle on hire basis to the Office of Assistant Executive Engineer Project Sub Division Dharwad for one year in KARNATAKA

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The vehicle shall be registered from RTO

TDS shall be deducted from vehicle rent against each bill

The vehicle available for rent shall be Swift Dzire Toyota Etios GD similar type of recent AC Model not being earlier than 2021.For the same supporting documents to be provided.

The number plate on the vehicle should be yellow color

All the vehicles shall be supplied by single travel agency/person.

The driver should have valid driving license

The vehicle shall have AC provision and no extra amount shall be paid for the same

Conditional tender shall not be accepted

EMD to be submitted is Rs. 13050/- through E-Payment

In case of vehicle repair or non availability of vehicles alternate arrangement of vehicle shall be made by the tenderer, failure of which amount will be deducted at rate of Rs.1450 per day.

The driver shall adhere to the instruction from the officer all the time

In case of any kind of accidents if any damages happens, it will be the responsibility of the tenderer to get it repaired at his own cost

If the behavior of the driver is not satisfactory to the officer, the driver shall be replaced

The Executive Engineer can accept or reject any of the tenders without any reason.

Travel Agency/Person that has provided vehicles to Government departments/officers will be preferred.

The agency should follow all relevant transport laws. Copy of RC Book. Driver license vehicle insurance drivers Insurance etc

Travel Agency/Person shall provide a suitable driver (non-alcoholic) to this office

The vehicle shall be maintained in good condition always and Should be produced for spot inspection and trial at the time of opening of Tender Document

If the price quoted by two or more tenders are same then the latest model vehicle will be selected

Vehicle should be in good condition for travel. He has to produce experience certificate having vehicle given for hiring base to State Government/semi Government

The Agency/Person shall provide a substitute in case of absence/leave of the driver

The driver shall maintain meticulously the details in the log-book and with sign by the officer in charge.

All payments and bills shall be as per the relevant details in the log book

The Agency/Person shall ensure that the vehicle insurance and Road Tax papers should be in order and paid up to date.

The driver shall come neatly dressed to work

Agency/ Person shall make good any loss suffered by Government due to negligence or carelessness of the driver. This will be in addition to normal/legal police procedures

The Agency/Person shall submit its bills once a month

Payment shall be as per Government rules issued from time to time

Opening of meter reading shall commence from Sub division office and closing the same at travel office only

The driver shall carry the driving Licenses and relevant documents while on duty

The Agency/Person shall take steps to ensure that the vehicle provided to Sub division office always conforms to the Emission norms prescribed as per law and rules in force

The Agency/Person shall bear all taxes, duties, levies and penalties

It shall be the sole responsibility of the Agency/Person of the cars to meet or discharge any liability arising out of the violation of Traffic Rules and Regulations and Statutory Regulations and all such rules in force.

It shall be the responsibility of the Agency/Person to produce at their own cost the drivers, cars both before the courts of law and before the police authorities whenever required in case of accidents or any orders, contingencies or any orders or discretions of the Judicial or Executive Authorities

The driver shall carry the identity card together with an attested photocopy which in turn shall be attested by the Division office

The tender period upto one year from the date of agreement.

The bidder must compulsorily quote monthly rates for the vehicle.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

If the bidder has received any notices or warnings from the govt department /agencies for non-satisfactory services the bid may be rejected by the Executive Engineer .
