Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Depending on the requirement of Department, Vehicle is to be provided for minimum of 26 days a month.

The vehicle should be provided for a period of 10Hrs per day from 9.00hrs to 19.00hrs.

The vehicle should be provided for a period of a total of 300 hours or 2500 kms in a month.And in case after exceeding 2500km the rates per km is considered as per rates in Schedule-B.

The tenderer is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance until the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The department shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of completed tender documents due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches.

Any bidder who is otherwise technically qualified withdraws from the bidding process at any stage before a final decision is taken on the tender, the EMD of such bidder shall be forefieted

Vehicle should be in good condition and not more than 3 years old. An alternate vehicle should be arranged in case of vehicle provided breakdown.

Certificate should be provided if the supplier has supplied the vehicle for Govt. departments.

The tender without EMD will be rejected.

The validity of EMD shall be for a period of 180 days from the date of opening of tender.

If the supplier has not provided the vehicle in time in-between the agreement period, then the supplier will be treated as defaulter and EMD will be forfeited.

If supplier has fitted the vehicle with LPG, same has to be entered in RC book and certificate from RTO has to be submitted. The fuel mention in the RC book has to be used

All expenses including the cost of fuel, maintenance, Bata, Toll Fee and salary and uniform of the driver shall be borne by the transport operators and KNNL is not liable to pay any charges in this regard.

No extra allowance will be given to driver for halting during out side tour.

Parking/Pass etc expenses are to be bared by supplier. In case of Accident, All risks lies with Supplier.

Alternate Driver has to be arranged by supplier in case the Driver is on Leave.

Hire charges will be paid after the service provided for the month depending on the availability

Vehicle should be supplied during holidays also depending on the Govt. work as per the Instructions of Higher Officer

Taxes as per Government norms (IT, GST,Cess etc) will be deducted at the prevailing rates from the bill.

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected

All rights of Accepting/Rejecting the tender is reserved.

Further an increase in the prices of Diesel / Petrol and crew charges will not be considered for any kind of alteration of Contract Prices during the Contract Period.

Refer Annexure-IV for the additional conditions to be followed.

If any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good.

The percentage shall be entered in figures & words

The percentage quoted by the agency and the incidental tender amount on the basis of percentage quoted must be inclusive of Sales Tax and any other duties, tax, etc.. The agency is also required to pay octroi Dues levied by the State Government or any Local Body or Authority and ground rent if any, charged by the Executive Engineer for stocking materials. No extra payment on this account will be made to the agency.

The agency participated in tenders and withdrawn from tender process, if not handing over the original Bank Guarantee the time of opening initial amount deposited through e-payment shall forfeited to K.N.N.L. The Nigam is also at liberty to take any other penal action as it deems fit against such agency

Conditional tenders will be rejected. The Officer competent to accept the tenders shall have the right of rejecting any or all the tenders without assigning any reason
