Gujarat GETCO Tender for 2-Year Bi-Annual Material Transportation Contract

The selected contractor will be responsible for:

• Transportation of electrical and mechanical materials from GETCO store centers to substations and other designated locations in Gujarat.
• Loading, unloading, and stacking of store materials at both origin and destination.
• Ensuring safety and security of materials during transit.
• Maintaining transportation equipment and tools in optimal condition.
• Complying with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

The process involves:

1. Receiving the material at the store center.
2. Loading materials onto transport vehicles.
3. Transporting materials to the specified site.
4. Unloading and stacking materials securely.
5. Completing documentation and delivery confirmation.

Key deliverables include timely transportation, safety compliance, and proper documentation.

The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, skilled manpower, and adhere to GETCO's operational standards.

Transportation vehicles must meet the following parameters:

Sequential process for technical compliance:

1. Submit vehicle registration documents.
2. Provide safety and operational certificates.
3. Demonstrate vehicle capacity and suitability.
4. Undergo inspection if required.

All vehicles and equipment must be maintained in accordance with government safety standards and be available for inspection upon GETCO's request.

The estimated total contract value is approximately INR 44,402,138. Bidders must submit a bank solvency certificate equal to at least 20% of this amount, i.e., INR 8,880,423. The financial bid should include a detailed cost breakdown:

Payment terms:

• 30% advance upon contract signing.
• 70% post successful completion of each month’s work.
• Payments will be made against submission of proper documentation and work completion certificates.
• All payments are subject to deduction of applicable taxes and levies as per government norms.
