Invitation to Bid - Providing and Supplying Man Power for the Office of the Assistant Executive Engineer, VJNL, Yettinahole Project Sub Division No.06, Chikkaballapura for the year 2026-27 in KARNATAKA

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The Bidders Should quote the service charges in Percentage only. If Service Charges are quoted in rupees then the bid will be rejected

If There are more than 01 number of eligible L1 bidder quoting the same bid percentage, then bidder selection will be done by lottery process and the decision of tender accepting authority will be final.

The Amount put to tender includes taxes and duties as disclosed in the tender document. However the contract price is subjected to equitable adjustments if any, required on account of implementations of GST w.e.f 1st july 2017 including reduction if any there of subjected to production of documentary evidence

Scanned signature of the bidder / authorised representative in case of a firm or company, to be attached while uploading the bid documents. Also in case of authorised representative, scanned copy of power of attorney should be uploaded & the original should be produced at the time of opening of tender

Authority competent to accept the tender shall have the right to rejecting all or any of the tender without assigning any reason and will not be bound to accept the lowest tender

The intended bidder shall submit original document for verification at the time of evaluation on specified/intimated date failing which the bid considered to be non responsive.

The bid documents for the above work comprises of bid to indicate the amount offered by the Bidder for completion of the work on percentage basis based on schedule-B of the contract form

The contractor/ authorized signatory should attach his/her scanned signature to the Schedule-B before uploading the documents

The intended bidder shall submit original document for verification at the time of technical evaluation on specified/intimated date failing which the bid considered to be non-responsive

The evaluation of the technical bid will be done based on the information provided by the contractor as per his documents, duly verified if necessitates. If the employer finds that any certificates/ information furnished is false, such bidders will be disqualified and barred from participation in the bid

Successful bidders should execute the agreement within 15 days from the date of approval intimated. An additional 30 days time may be allowed with a penalty of 0.5% of Contract value. If the contractor fails to enter into the agreement within the said period, action shall be initiated for banning to participate in the tender of VJNL

If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good

Conditional / incomplete tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever

Corrigendum/addendum will be published in the e-procurement website for all modifications or corrections if any

The Tender processing charges paid by the bidders are not refundable even if the tenders are cancelled

Tendering by joint venture will not be allowed

The contractors/Firm shall send the authorization letter for their representatives duly attesting their signature

In case of any accidents, the contractor is solely responsible

In the case of the death of a contractor after executing the agreement/commencement of the work, his legal heir, if an eligible registered contractor and willing can execute and complete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of the work

The contractor should furnish the name of the individual/ firm with address & telephone No. with place of registration, year of incorporation etc

The tenderer is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-procurement portal due to Internet connectivity issues and technical glitches

The work done certificate should be obtained from a competent authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer of the concerned division/ Equivalent officer
