Government Tender for Transportation of 8M/200KG PSC Poles in Gujarat 2025-26

The selected contractor will be responsible for the annual transportation of 8-meter, 200kg PSC poles from designated pole factories to various UGVCL site locations within Gujarat. The scope includes:

• Loading and unloading of PSC poles at factory sites and destination locations.
• Transportation of poles using appropriate vehicles compliant with RTO regulations.
• Ensuring safety and security during transit.
• Adherence to delivery schedules as specified in the contract.
• Maintenance of vehicles and compliance with legal and safety standards.

The process involves:

1. Receiving the transportation schedule from UGVCL.
2. Preparing vehicles with necessary permits and documents.
3. Loading PSC poles securely to prevent damage.
4. Transporting poles to designated sites.
5. Unloading and handing over at the destination.
6. Documentation and reporting of each trip.

The contractor must ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and environmental standards throughout the project.

Vehicles must be RTO registered, insured, and have valid fitness certificates. Transportation will follow the specifications:

Sequential procedures include vehicle inspection, permit verification, loading, transit, unloading, and documentation. Vehicles must comply with safety standards and environmental regulations throughout the contract period.

The total estimated budget for this transportation project ranges from INR 50 lakh to INR 70 lakh, depending on the volume of poles and transportation needs. The tender fee is INR 5900, payable via demand draft or online transaction. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is specified in the tender documents. Payment terms include:

• 50% payment after successful delivery of poles at each site.
• Remaining 50% after final acceptance.
• Payments will be processed within 30 days of submission of invoice and delivery confirmation.

The financial bid must include detailed cost breakdowns, including transportation charges, loading/unloading, and incidental expenses. Bidders should ensure compliance with all financial terms specified in the tender documents.
