Government Tender for Hiring Amphibious Excavator & Dredging Equipment in Surat

The selected contractor will be responsible for providing the following services:

• Hiring of heavy machinery including Amphibious Excavators (L & T PC 200 or equivalent), Long Stick Boom Excavators, Pocklane Machines, JCB 3D/4CX, BEML, HM, or equivalent capacity machines, along with Tractors and Dumpers.
• Performing dredging operations of Khadi and Kachha Gutters at specified locations in South Zone-B, Surat.
• Loading, unloading, shifting, and transportation of equipment as per project requirements.
• Ensuring all machinery meet the technical specifications outlined in the tender documents.
• Adhering to safety standards and environmental regulations during operations.

Key Deliverables:

• Fully operational dredging machinery at designated sites.
• Daily progress reports.
• Maintenance and safety compliance documentation.

Process Steps:

1. Submit bid along with required documents.
2. Attend pre-bid meetings if scheduled.
3. Bid evaluation and shortlisting.
4. Contract award and mobilization.
5. Execution of dredging works as per schedule.

All machinery must conform to the following technical parameters:

1. Inspection of machinery before deployment.
2. Compliance with safety and environmental standards.
3. Regular maintenance and operational checks.
4. Documentation of operational hours and maintenance logs.

The total estimated budget for the project is within the range of Rs. 50 Lakhs to Rs. 70 Lakhs. The cost breakdown includes:

Payment terms:

• 30% advance upon contract signing.
• 40% after completion of 50% work.
• Remaining 30% after final delivery and approval.
  Payments will be made through bank transfer based on milestone achievements and submission of necessary documentation.
