Government Tender for Supply, Laying & Testing of 11KV Underground Cables in Vapi

The scope of work includes:

• Supply of 11KV underground cables by DGVCL.
• Laying of underground cables within designated areas.
• Testing of installed cables to ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Commissioning of the cable system for operational readiness.
• Installation of Cable End Termination kits and Straight Joint kits supplied by the contractor.
• Erection of HT-LT lines and associated T/C (Transformer/Controller) infrastructure.
• Use of HDPE green pipes for underground cable protection.

Key Deliverables:

• Fully installed and tested 11KV underground cable system.
• Properly terminated and jointed cables with certified quality.
• Erected HT-LT lines as per approved drawings.

Sequential Process:

1. Receive and inspect supply of cables and accessories.
2. Prepare trenching and installation sites.
3. Lay underground cables and secure with HDPE pipes.
4. Install cable end terminations and straight joints.
5. Conduct testing and quality assurance.
6. Erect HT-LT lines and T/C structures.
7. Final commissioning and handover.

The process involves detailed planning, procurement, trenching, cable laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning, following all safety and technical standards mandated by Gujarat State Power Corporation.

The estimated project cost is approximately ₹28,50,000. Bidders must submit a detailed financial proposal with a breakdown of costs including materials, labor, and overheads. The payment schedule will be linked to project milestones, with an initial mobilization advance and subsequent payments upon completion of specified phases. The bid must include a valid Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) as specified. All financial proposals should be submitted in the prescribed format, ensuring transparency and competitiveness. The total bid amount should adhere to the budget limits outlined in the tender documents.
