The selected contractor will be responsible for the annual transportation of 10M/270KG PSC poles from various pole manufacturing factories to designated site locations within UGVCL jurisdiction. The scope includes:
- Loading and unloading of PSC poles at factory sites and destination locations.
- Transportation using registered and insured vehicles compliant with RTO regulations.
- Timely delivery within the stipulated completion period of 12 months.
- Coordination with UGVCL officials for scheduling and site access.
- Adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations during transportation.
The process involves:
- Receiving the work order from UGVCL.
- Preparing vehicles with valid fitness certificates, insurance, and permits.
- Executing transportation as per the schedule.
- Reporting progress and resolving any logistical issues.
- Final delivery and documentation submission.
The contractor must ensure all vehicles are RTO registered, insured, and equipped with valid fitness certificates and permits, including public/goods carriage permits. The work also requires compliance with safety and environmental standards as specified by UGVCL.
